Scribbly Gum Eucalyptus haemastoma

Eucalyptus haemastoma is the second tree beside our walk that is called a Scribbly Gum. It is a species that is native to the Sydney region, between Lake Macquarie and the Royal National Park.

It flowers mostly from autumn through to spring and the flowers are white. Like all Eucalypts the flowers develop under a woody cap.
