Prickly Moses grows all along the East Coast of mainland Australia and in Tasmania. It is also called Juniper Wattle and Prickly Mimosa.

Flowering occurs during mid autumn to mid spring.

The common name, "Prickly Moses" has nothing to do with the Bible but is just people  getting prickly mimosa wrong.
