Mistletoe birds make a nest out of spiders webs and feed their young on the fruit of mistletoes. 

 

After the seed has been digested by the chick, the “poo” , a seed covered in a sticky fluid is collected by the parents and placed on a branch to grow a new plant  (see photo to the left).
