Devil's Twine Cassytha pubescens

You will need to look up into the tree canopy to see Devil’s Twine.
It is a hemiparasitic plant. This means it still uses photosynthesis to make sugars from sunlight but also obtains water and minerals from the host plant.

Its leaves are reduced to scales and photosynthesis is achieved through chlorophyll contained in the plants stems
